Directions

Take the Wantagh Parkway south to exit W6W (Merrick Rd. West).  When you come off the ramp you must go west but the entrance to Wantagh Park will be directly in front of you on the left across from Causeway Deli.  You will have to go west on Merrick Rd. and make a u-turn somewhere and come back to it.  The picnic site is about a half mile into the park on the left off the only road through the park.  Look for my car or the American flag.  Any problems give me a call.

    Great directions Scott. I know how to get there and I got lost trying to follow your directions.

    American flags- yup pretty unique to see an American flag in America. Should have no problem picking you out.

    JK Mr Sensitive. It’s all good. Very nice gesture to put directions out there. Kork’s gonna have a hard enough time getting there in reverse and they have a boat ramp so I am concerned.

    Here’s a little add on to the directions- Once you’re in the park on the one road, you’ll see a red building on the left and a big brown overhang, we’ll be just past the brown overhang, flying an American flag. If you hit the boat docks and pool, you’ve gone too far. Plus, there’s a good chance we’ll take my car b/c we can fit more crap - a greenish-silver Rav4.
