…The Giants answer to Jetman would be somebody like “The Juiceman,” also known as Craig Berman, 24, of Manhasset, NY, who paints his body in the Giants blue and white, and hits the stadium shirtless - even in 20 degree weather.

“He’s pretty insane in his regular life so we’re not surprised that translates over into some fanaticism,” said Chris Korkidis, 25, of Long Island, NY.

The Giants have so many colorful fans that they actually get communal.

Juiceman and Korkidis are members of the Giant Nuts Project, a tailgating group devoted to the boys in blue that converges in parking lot 3A at Giants Stadium on game days.

The two-year-old group erects three blue tents with various entertaining and intoxicating features. There’s a Budweiser keg in one tent, a “Marination Station” in another that’s replete with grills and eating tables, while the “Living Room” tent features a flat screen TV with speakers and Direct TV satellite. In the bed of a pick-up truck you’ll also find complete DJ equipment with speakers and a microphone and a PlayStation 2 equipped with that holy grail of football videogames, Madden NFL.

“We all grew up as Giants fans; football was our favorite sport,” said Korkidis, one of the original eight Nuts. “It has a lot of heritage and we wanted to be a part of it. It’s a good way to network and it’s a stress release.”
