1-2 into the bye week….. Good thing we havent won a game after the bye in like 10 years. Tim lewis is terrible and ive been saying it for 2 years now. His schemes are bad and he cant communicate to his players what hes even trying to do. This is the same coordinator who destroyed the steelers defense like 5 years ago and was fired. The steelers were the worst in the league against the pass during his time, just like the giants seem to be now.
Its hard to have complicated defenses when the players are not that bright. Hes having arrington do all kinds of crazy zones, but he cant do that so he just stands there. Just tell him to find the ball and go get it like they did with LT. He had strahan drop into coverage on a first down running play which they ran right at him. He has the secondary playing zones that seem to make no sense with big holes everywhere.
Plaxico didnt play hard because his back was achy. great job. However he didnt seem to rebel against his benching and says he knows he didnt play well and he’ll be ready to go in 2 weeks.

Shockey had a lot to say about the coaching, and i actually think his ramblings made some sense. He wasnt the only one who said some stuff about the coaching either. I cant find it in print but i heard it on the radio, Sam Madison saying the defense didnt know where they were supposed to be, didnt know what to do etc. That sounds like coaching to me. Thats all Tim Lewis.

I’m wondering why we wait until we are hopelessly out of the game before opening up the offense. It seems we only bring out the big guns when other teams would have been playing third stringers. And Eli? He looks like a high schooler until we go to no-huddle, then he rivals his brother.
I agree that Lewis is destroying the team. Shockey is right, but had better be careful… they muzzled him twice already, and I doubt they’d give him another warning. Maybe he ought to start looking; THAT would wake up the front office.
I made an inebriated bet with my brother after the game yesterday. At seasons end, for every game over 8 that we won, I owe him $10. For every one under 8, he owes me. We’ll see.

You hit the nail on the head PJ… Tim Lewis’ time is up. I read on another site the guy recommending he go NOW rather than the end of the season. Now I’m not sure they’d ever do that but I don’t disagree.
Let me add that I’m sick of abandoning the run. You have an MVP caliber running back and another one showing ALOT of promise. We seem to enjoy going three and out on missed passes though.

We could sit here and talk junk about how awful the Defense is…. I wanna mention how retarded our team looks with their 50 penalties a game. Every frikin play that fat fuckin bastard Petitgout decides hes got itchy balls and has to move to adjust them.
Granted Defense is poor as fuck, this team is undisciplined. Maybe we should look at the hardass General who can’t keep his team from lookin like a Peewee team trying to Learn the game.

Giants Off/Def Coordinators need to be fired…esp Tim Lewis, not to mention Coach “Disipline” Coughlin. Horrible football, if you could call it that.
Where is Strahan, Osi, and Antonio Pierce? Non-Existant. The Secondary? Ha. What a sorry excuse of a backfield. Sam Madison should have retired long ago, I can’t believe I miss Will Allen, thats how bad we are. It hurts having such a shitty Defense…the hallmark of past Giants teams. Pierce and Strahan were making predictions of “best Defense, Superbowl apprearances..” Well guys, 1st you need a secondary unit and then you have to show up in the game…no fn pass rush…pathetic. Hey but Tim Lewis don’t think we need to blitz. LaVar Arrington? Finished. He can’t cover shit…but hey his game isn’t a cover LB, he’s a blitzing LB but again Tim Lewis is probably the dumbest D-Cord in the NFL…”Lets not use our personel in the way that explotis our strength” Great Idea.
The playcalling is ridiculously off-key. Lets run Tiki Barber into the ground when we’re down by 4 touchdowns. Defenses used to spend the whole week preparing for him, not anymore. Luke Pettitgout…I dont have words to describe. How many fn false starts is he going to get called on, how many holds is Luke “bring it back” Pettitgout going to have to ruin long runs? The “leader” of the O-Line, well I hope he dont led by example not to mention his back problems, what a pussy. Penalties! WTF Man, we led the NFL. I guess Tom Coughlin isn’t a hardass as much as we thought.
Giants in the 1st 3 weeks have shown me they are unorganized and confused which leads me to the Coaching. They are a way better team than they have looked. But unfortuantley they look like a joke.
What a fucking mess, I am upset I thought they were going to rock this year. Hopefully they use the bye to sort everything out but with the toughest schedule in the NFL and past track records after the bye, it may be all folks. Hopefully I see something in week 5 that will keep hope alive.
