OK- Seems like everyone is up for a little Spring camping trip. Here is my favorite Campground. It is in Greenport (about an 1 1/2 hours away). They also have tent sites next to camper sites if needed (it looks like we will need at least one tent site).

Now the most difficult part- picking the dates. The campground opens in May. If we did something in mid May- would a weekend work (PJ?) or do we have to do midweek? My first choice for a weekend would be Fri May 19-Sun May 21.
Why doesn’t everyone just throw a few dates out there and let’s see if we can work something out.

Seriously though, Frank I think your May dates are mixed up! I think what you mean is Fri. May 19 - Sun. May 21.
Sucks for me either way cause I’m workin every weekend in May. I could try to work somethin out but if I can’t I’m sure you guys will take plenty of video.

My first Fri, Sat, Sun after May is June 16,17,18, and the 18th is Fathers day so I’m pretty sure PJ, Meg, and Billy will be giving three hour tours on the S.S. Minnow all weekend!! =)

Yeah, June weekends are really no good. It looks like most weekends in May are booked too. I just called the office to send me the most recent booked list because you would be surprised how fast parties pop out outta nowhere. Would a mid-week be impossible? How about the week of Mon, May 22? I will be all done with finals (yay) and it is the week before Memorial Day weekend. Sorry to be so annoying, it’s not easy being a skipper.

yeah finding a weekend off is for me and megan is almost impossible. Ill have to check the schedule, but even then, parties can be booked like the day before so i never know.

How about Wed May 24- Friday May 26? I am already booked out there for Memorial day weekend with the family so I would just have to take a few extra days off from work. Kork- can you do a mid-week?

As of right now those dates look good for us. I just received the most updated schedule and there is nothing going on those days. Like PJ said, sometimes parties will pop up out of nowhere but my fingers are crossed!!

So when would everyone be able to confirm that the date is ok? Campgrounds require full payment upfront for RV sites and I don’t want to book if I am the only yes and there are 10 maybes.
That would be a great video- me drinking by myself. Me telling myself stories by the campfire, me getting stared at because I am now the guy that came camping by himself and must be a weirdo serial killer.

Hey..I know I haven’t been around to say anything or comment since probably I registered for the GNP…I am alive though, in case any of you were worried. But camping sounds like fun. I mean what’s better than drinking for like 48 hours with a bunch of guys and Megan of course…not much. And as Chris (or Kork as the rest of you know him as) already said, those dates are fine. I’m pretty flexible since I’ll be done with school by then and I just need to give a couple weeks notice with work, so I’m in.

Yeah, I used to make the smores in just a cowboy hat and flip flops until the burning ash, flaming marshmallow incident! So after I got out of the hospital, and multiple skin grafts, I bought the speedo.
It’s still worth the vacation days though.

I will book it. Don’t need any money right now. We can take care of it when we get closer to the trip. So I assume we need 1 tent site and 1 camper site? That should work even if everyone goes. I’ll book it this week.
