i know you guys hate him but i dont think hes that bad. we need better players. Vince lombardi couldnt have coached this team of losers. i would like to see a QB guru type coach to coach just Eli, perhaps jim fassel, he turned Kerry Collins from an alcoholic statue to a pretty good QB.

Yeah this is a great news if you want a high draft pick next year and you like throwing away an entire year of football.
If you were a GM would you take a job that you didn’t have any say over the coach this year? We did this ass backwards. Hire a GM first and let him decide on the coach’s status.
Fassel did a great job with Kyle Boller also. There is a reason why this guy isn’t in the league this year. He sucks and won’t work in the NFL again.
We will look back on today as one of the stupidest moves by this organization behind EA trading for Opie.

coaches coach, players make plays. players didnt make plays this year. the coach cant go out there and make demps tackle somebody. He cant pause the game and show eli the open receiver. coaching can only take you so far.

PJ-Exactly. That’s why your so called “QB guru” namely Jim Fasshole can’t do shit for Eli.
Players have to buy into the system and feel like the coaching staff is putting them out there with a game plan that will work. They don’t believe in this staff.
Offense- How come we drove down and scored on our first drive of the game many times this year and then couldn’t do shit for the rest of the game? It’s called adjustments and when the D made adjustments we had no response to that.
Defense- I’m not even wasting my time. It’s all about scheme. When you expect Carlos Emmons to cover a WR you know your fucked. How Tim Lewis kept his job is beyond me.
I am pissed. Can you tell?

brian westbrook ran off right tackle that last drive every play. no one could stop him. kiwanuka was pushed 5 yards away everytime, pierce took bad angles, the DTs couldnt reach him and who the hell knows what the other scrubs were doing. thats players
