**UPDATE**
We’re leaving for the airport. Any notable updates will be posted along the trip. Sightings of Big Ben’s crashed motorcycle, someone trying to buy weed off Santonio Holmes, or if Plax jay walks and gets slapped with a huge fine… we’ll be on the lookout. Go Giants. -Kork
4 members of the GNP are going to hostile Pittsburgh to watch the Giants …
-Anyway, where are we tailgating? Any options yet? And whats our plan for Saturday night?

Land at 6pm. Check in at the hotel and head out. Penn State vs Ohio State at 8pm so we should hit a sports bar to watch. Probably be packed. Our hotel is about 45 minutes from the city so we need to come up with a transportation plan.
Sunday- We have a parking pass. Given the lack of supplies our best bet for a tailgate might be a bar. Someone mentioned Bettis has a place right by the stadium.

Whatever you do - please don’t drive the rental with the ebrake on the whole way… it could get messy.

so we’re in the lobby waiting for marlo the cab driver. There is a wedding reception in the hotel tonight. This is good. Bars close at 2am and we can’t get booze til we get to southside. This is bad.

Dan asks Kork for a double grey goose. Kork comes back with a single goose but double the straws. Also, captain cokes are $5, beers are $2, it’s gonna get ugly real soon

Guess what? The subway across the street from the hotel is actually open now. So far we have not been kicked out of the hotel yet. How was that 4 am flight preceeding your day at work?

A day at work in NY easily beats a day in a Pittsburgh hotel in the middle of nowhere. We landed at 6:30am and I was at my desk at 7:20.
Enjoy those flight delays and rush hour traffic.
And PJ- wait till you get your credit card bill. They won’t kick you out but they will charge you a ridiculous late checkout fee.

no, we let them know in the morning. Me and Kork shmoozed it, it was no problem. Now we are fine dining at jacksons next door. By far the best meal in Pittsburgh, on par with ny establishments. You even have to take off your hat to enter. So after my capicola peppers and cheese sandwich, with fries pickle cole slaw and beverage, for $7.25, we are now enjoying our captain and cokes until our limo arrives. Cheers

Sounds awesome. I really wish I was still in Pittsburgh right now. Did you guys run out on the check yet? Those yellow limos are really nice. We call them taxi cabs in NY.
