ABOUT US
The Giant Nuts Project is new and improved for the 2008 season, following in the footsteps of the team WE root for- The SUPER BOWL CHAMPION New York Giants. 6 Members of the GNP were there in Arizona at the Super Bowl witnessing history, a day we will all remember vividly. We are convinced our cheering was the main reason behind the victory of the New York Giants.
The Giant Nuts Project is the premier tailgate at Giants Stadium. We are endorsed by the Tailgating Commissioner Joe Cahn (of www.tailgating.com), and were the Budweiser Tailgate of the Week 10/30/05 vs. the Washington Redskins. We are located in 5E, adjacent to the street. Locate us easily using our high tech google earth satellite map! We are easily recognized by our 3 Blue Tents highlighted by the “Beer Tent” and “Marination Station”.
Our setup includes many unique features not found at most tailgates.
At the center of the “Beer Tent” we have our full keg of Bud Light. On days that we expect larger crowds at the party, we adjust our beer supply exponentially.
Inside the “Marination Station” are 2 Weber Charcoal grills and 2 tables for prepping our fantastic food.
Under the 3rd tent is the Living Room, which features a flat screen TV fully outfitted with small speakers and Direct TV satellite. Our Direct TV satellite setup has the NFL Sunday Ticket, which means we get every game beamed down from outer space while we tailgate. Also available is our Playstation 2, most of the time playing Madden, and this greatly keeps kids, and kids at heart, occupied while the grown ups enjoy the tailgate.
We feature full DJ equipment, with 2 extra large speakers and a microphone with 200 feet of cable. Authentic NFL and other appropriate music can be heard, as well as many announcements and antics.
The real crowd pleaser is a creation of the Giant Nuts Project, Double Trouble. Double Trouble is a funnel made for 2 people, with 2 tubes connected to a 2 liter bottle that can be filled with the beverage of your choice! Beer is the number 1 beverage served in double trouble, and is very popular. Amateurs and first timers have a big problem with the amount of, and the velocity of the beverage that is being funneled, and it is not uncommon to see complete overflow from the mouths of competitors as well as people giving up completely in order to resume normal breathing. Step up to the plate at the Giant Nuts Project to see if you can handle Double Trouble.
All this and more! Every week there is a new feature and new creations from the creative minds of the Giant Nuts Project!
Here are the bios of some of the members of the Giant Nuts Project.
BiLLMaTiC - The self proclaimed “Black Hole of this Block”, known for interception attempts, interviews, Mike and the Mad Dog Intros, and the official Clown of the Giant Nuts Project. Thats what he does, he does it well, and he does it for the kids. His american flag sailor hats are sold out in stores because he bought the whole inventory.
Captain PJ - drunk
Chris - AKA “The Boy Scout”, known for tying great knots and putting things together. Also cooks the Best Ribs this side of Kansas City.
Dan - Danimal is the champion of the Double Trouble. Dan has taken down competitors from across the country and takes on all challengers. Dan has only received valid competition from his own 2 brothers and the epic family battles of funneling massive amounts of beer are legendary across the Giants Stadium Parking Lot. He is a proud American, regularly saying aloud “God Bless America” at all times during the tailgate. In between games, it is common to get text messages at all hours of the day and night saying “God Bless America and the New York Giants!” Dan proudly displays our American flag everywhere, and is the main flag raiser at all GNP events.

A typical 2:51am Danimal text message…
Frank - The Creative mind who constantly comes up with great ideas and sees them through. Always creates a great dish whether it be shrimp, steak, or scallops & bacon.
Kork! - Kork’s real name has never been discovered, but his made up name warrants an exclamation point. We all look forward to his stuffed peppers, served on occasion at the tailgate. He is a master of all unneccessary trades, including cutting holes into metal vans with a dremel tool, and installing computers into cars. Also known for extreme Lighter Fluid skeeting and throwing up in the parking lot.
Juiceman - DJ of the Giant Nuts Project, most famous for chasing away scalpers with the microphone and snuffing bootleggers. Also the World Record Holder of consecutive hours sitting down. Juiceman got his name as a child, growing up as a huge fan of Mott’s Apple Juice. At that time he was called Juiceboy, until his 13th birthday, at which point he became a man at his Bar Mitzvah, and became Juiceman.
Pops - The backbone of the operation, has seen it all, and is a great sport by putting up with all our shenanigans
Scott - Shows up in a wheelchair with a broken ankle, known for being wild with a great spirit.
Van - The van is “new” for 2008. Purchased from Fred Flintstone, the van has no floor at the drivers seat. Driving can be damp and hazardous, no problem for the GNP. After the van hit 1 million miles, the odometer has reset itself and is now at just over 50,000 miles. The real stories of this van will be told after a complete season of driving it. See pictures of the newly redone van in our pictures section.
All chronicles of the Giant Nuts Project can be found in the Pictures and Video section of the website. Be sure to check them out! If you have any questions/comments or want to stop by, just email pj@giantnutsproject.com , or any other Giant Nuts Project member! Go Giants!!!
